The monitoring and transmission of data by cellular network 2G/3G/4G in real time is possible thanks to IoT technology, with which FDX Ingeniería data loggers and the FDX-CLOUD cloud are provided.
We began deploying loggers equipped with NB-IoT and LTE-CAT-M1 technology, enhancing energy efficiency and extending device autonomy.
Our IoT data loggers, which withstand extreme conditions, are monitoring the main sewage network of the area comprising the State of Buenos Aires and the Capital of Argentina, revealing the load of these pipes at all times.
This large-scale system, which has more than 190 monitoring points, provides the necessary tools to make real-time decisions and keep the drainage system in optimal condition.
The network extends from the small town of Tigre to the south of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, through hundreds of kilometers of subway channels. These channels are up to 4 meters in diameter and interconnect with each other.
The power of IoT dataloggers
Our dataloggers are devices that collect information to send it to the FDX-CLOUD cloud using the cellular network.
